Hi, this is my first post so be gentle if this question has been asked before.

I have an Ideal HE30 that has stopped doing what it says on the tin.

No hot water or heat............nothing at all. The user control and display panel show nothing at all, no fault code, no `o`, nothing, it looks completely dead. There`s an electrical supply at the wall mounted fused switch in and out.

Any ideas appreciated..........

It sounds as if its working normally then!

Check all the fuses are good. If so it will 99% be the pcb failed.

Question is, was it just the crap pcb failed or has another component taken it out.

The fan has a habit of doing this.

Thanks for the reply.....I will check the fuse(s) in the boiler. There is power to the pcb from the main fused switch, and the fuse on the pcb seems to be ok...are there any other fuses within the boiler that you know of?

Cheers Dave

Why are Ideal so bad....................I had the PCB replaced 16 months ago, and yes you`re right it is the PCB(again)

Thanks for the accurate reply, although I was hoping you were wrong.
