I am a plumber with experience just never done much with boilers but I know the basics

Boiler is igniting then lighting, but just not staying lit, also it does not display error codes as we had the pcb board changed 2 years ago.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Frazer

If you're gas safe registered, sign up for the Combustion Chamber section of the forum.

If you are not then get someone who is.
Or hit it with a hammer yourself, that's Dan's normal reply for icos and Isar boilers. :)

Why would it not display error codes because you had the pcb changed two years ago?

It's more than they deserve Shambo :D
I know nothing.
These were the type of calls I was dealing with every hour of every day when I was helping out on the tech help at the end of last year.
When I'm fit and able to talk without being full of medication I'll have to do this again for a few months.
I'm not looking forward to it in the slightest.
Muppetry at its finest who don't give you straight answers to questions or shouldn't be touching the boiler in the first place.

No I arnt gas safe, and the pcb board was a reconditioned one from a friend, and the little screen doesn't work, well I have ordered a element detection probe so will swap that over to see if it makes any difference!

Do you know how to use a multimeter to check continuity and insulation resistance on parts of your boiler?

Have you inspected the back to back connector on the back of the display board?

The forum rules do not allow us to give detailed fault repair advice to anyone who is not gas registered.

In your case you should not even be opening up the combustion chamber.

So you shouldn't be taking off the combustion cover or fitting any parts to do with the safe running of this appliance.
Therefore I'm not helping.
