Ideal Isar Boiler

I have a fault with the central heating on my Ideal Isar boiler. when called for central heating, the boiler does nothing but hot water is fine, power o.k. between central heating controls and boiler, checked by electrician. any ideas apart from scrapping the damn thing!. Thanks

Have you tested the boiler with the external controls disconnected and L1 and L2 linked?
Do you get any fault codes?

If the display is a O,then the boiler is not receiving
A demand for heating,not the boilers fault

Thanks for replying. The boiler gave the message 5 when prompted to start central heating then went to 0 and doesn't fire up.

Disconnect external controls and link across L1/L2.
