I have the heap of junk that is a Ideal Isar HE24 "boiler". It is just about 5 years old. (I had it thrust upon me by the WarmFront scheme)

It was showing an L:9 fault over the weekend.

I have increased the pressure to between 1 and 2 bars and bled the radiators, and reset.

It is now showing a H:A I believe that this relates to an overheating problem.

I've turned it off and on and the problem returns.

The fault only shows after the hot tap is turned on. We can only get hot water for a few seconds.

The central heating is working. However the heating appears to come on when we try to use the hot tap also.

Is there anything else I should check? Please help I need a bath!

Should I call on an engineer then? It appears no one has any quick fix for me.

My inclination is that the pump is either blocked or has failed or that the DV is likewise.

I would help you but seen as you badmouthed the boiler that my company makes then as the dragons would say........I'm out!
Get someone that knows what they are doing in to fix it.
