Any help most welcome, 2 young boys and a wife to keep warm and clean. I had a fully functioning boiler, however the wife heard odd noises from the boiler and subsequently the rads and hw temp is tepid at best. New wilo pump fitted, but still the same. Visiting plumber aint too sure what the prob is, any ideas?[/b]

Open vented system?
Have you checked that there is water in the small F & E tank in the loft?
Sealed system?
What's the pressure reading?
If neither of these post details of your system.

Who fitted the new pump, was this when the problems began.
There's no way a competent person would fit a pump and do a runner before making sure system warms up properly. You've been had, get a competent person round.
