hi, thanks a million for all your replys guys.
my next question is, what sort of citric acid should i use and any ideas where i get some from

Er...

The one which is C6 H8 O7 ( in its anhydrous form ).

You could buy it as DS40 from Fernox where it has about 20% Malic acid added as well or from indian food shops in small packets.

You may spoil your pump with it too !
