Hi everyone

I hope someone can help, I'm at my wits end

This is our new tap:

Unfortunately, we have a low pressured hot water system and so, need to change the tail to a wider/larger bore (it looks like it's a 5mm bore) as the hot water comes out like a dribble, testing from 15mm mains, there is no issue.

Technical details show the tails as a 3/8 pex hose. To get the tails out, I took the tap apart as there is a type of clip to hold these in.

Looking on screwfix, I can see tap tails. However, they all have screw heads. This tap has a different end on and after spending about an hour searching on our beloved google I unfortunately need some help guys.

Worse case, I'll get another tap with a larger bore (if someone could recommend one!)

Thanks all

It’s not the bore size that’s the issue, it’s the pressure (see attached screenshot of your link). Different tap time, and if you’re low pressured I would go for one that has 0.2bar to a maximum of 0.5 bar pressure. To get your existing one to work, you’d need a pump or take your cold water storage cistern to a height if 10 meters.

You would be wasting your time fitting different hoses as the restriction would be at the tap connection to hose.
Monobloc mixer taps are really only suitable for mains pressure systems.
