No they aren't, you're just not comparing like with like. The figures for the same power output boilers are the same. The equivalent Ferroli (according to the book) does 13.1l/min @ 35°C rise. The new Xtreme will do 14.5 @ 35°C rise.
Anyway, this is all largely irrelevant to the OP's post, which is about a boiler and cylinder
