Ideas for protecting drain pipe from parking mishaps?

Motorcycle inner tube.
Cut to 1M length
Remove 1M from down pipe.
Jubilee clip to pipe bottom

The problem is that every time it gets whacked it disconnects from the gutter at the top and causes a leak

You need more brackets.

I wonder what you can hang from that bracket?
Hanging basket? Punchbag? Wind chimes? Church bell? Inflatable chicken?
Something that is visible to the driver, and that a car can hit without doing damage

Screw a length of tanalised wood either side of the pipe, thicker than the pipe.

Then there is no need to modify the pipe etc.

It's a barrier that I want, rather than a deterrent/guide. Have been googling "pipe protectors" as recommended, but haven't found anything the right size yet - ideally I want something that doesn't protrude much more than 10cm from the wall

That's an interesting idea. It could be customised to exactly the right size, too. Might look a but ugly/odd, though
