Can anyone identity what this noise might be in the video below? It's intermittent and I'm unable to pin it down to a particular set of circumstances (eg just heating on, hot water running, etc). It's loud enough to hear downstairs. It seems to be coming from the area focused on in the video. It doesn't seem to be any loose fitting. It lasts anywhere from five seconds to two or three minutes.
British Gas came round and obviously the thing didn't make any noises at all while the chap was there. They will come back again now I have this good video evidence but can anyone pinpoint what this might be? Other than this, the boiler works well and gets serviced every year. Most of the time it's as quiet as it ever was.
