Hi All,

I have a Aquastream Thermo thermostatic integral power shower - it is probably 8 years old, it needed a new part (I can't remember but I think it was the pump) within the 3 year guarantee - which was covered by warrently.

About 2 years ago it started getting noisey again - thought it was probably the same issue. Recently it has simply stopped working - when you turn it on it makes a humming noise, but nothing happens (no water comes out).

I am wondering if there was any way to determine what the issue is to see if I could fix it myself - the last time the engineer came out, it literally took him 1 minute to fix it by replacing the part, but obviousily he knew what part and exactly what to do (it will cost 80-90 for him to come out and probably 120 if its a new pump - but at least I would know it would be fixed and wouldn't be left with the situation where I bought the wrong part!).

Any thoughts/opinions appreciated!

Thanks Mark.
