Make sure that you can't see the keypad from outside or Billy Burglar will know whether your alarm is set or not!!
It's a Grade 2 requirement NOT to show the alarm status, even if you can't see it from outside...
Why do you 'need' to know? If the alarm is Set (On) when someone enters the system an entry tone will start, telling them that the alarm is On, and will need to be turned Off.
Sorry, I'm obviously having a bad day, it has been a long day at work. Could you please explain what you mean. Why do you 'need' to know? If the alarm is Set (On) when someone enters the system an entry tone will start, telling them that the alarm is On, and will need to be turned Off.
What if you're already in the house and live in a PIR'less place?
It's to be hoped, the the same state you set it to.No PIRs.
Set alarm at night (full, night, part - whatever) goto bed, wake up...
Would like to know its state when waking up and going down in the morning.
That would be too easy.As Europlex has mentioned - can't you glance at the keypad? No display = set. Banner diisplayed = not set
