Can anyone provide details of cheaper but reasonable quality alternatives?

I read that Blum 71B3550 & Clip 173l8100 may fit?

And do the standard kitchen type rails work?

I've got a fair few units to fit so any small savings will add up.

You can buy Blum Hinges from Trade Hinges UK at a better price than anywhere retail, just make sure you buy the "Complete Bundle".

You will have to screw them on with screws other than the ones supplied, but you can drill pilot holes if you are confident with the supplied screws, im not. The setting distance from front of carcass to the hole center for the blum hinge plates is 37mm, I dont know what ikea set theirs at.

Wardrobe rails are interchangeable you dont have to use the IKEA ones. However if you have a corner wardrobe its best to buy the ikea rail as its curved and fits exactly.
