Image size too big at 1mb?!

Hi

I've been trying to upload some images but I am told that they are too big. The smallest I can get Lightroom to export to is 800kb but even that is too big. Surely not?! What is going wrong here?

Something is wrong, the max. size should be 10MB. I will investigate and get back to you.

Hi David, I have uploaded larger images without issue, can you email the image that fails and I'll have a deeper look. The maximum size allowed was 10 Megabytes, (I have just increased this limit to 15 Megabytes). Email [email protected]

Please download jpegresizer and use that to shrink them down or use an online jpg resizing tool.

Most of mine have been around 5mb and uploaded fine?.

i just tried now... 6 years later.... and 2MB files won't upload.. says too big! from iPhone... if that helps

Attachment size had temporally fallen back to lower figure, but it has now been reset back to 12MB. Apologies for that. Please let me know if you have further issues.

I was able to attach picture as a file instead.... there was no limit like that
