I live in Cyprus & my immersion element keeps blowing every 3 to 5 weeks - approx 50 - 70 hrs of use! I have had plumbers & electricians visit but all to no avail. I have hard water but the hot water tank has now been fitted with an anode, which has been successful in improving water quality, so limescale is not the problem. The hotwater tank has been checked to ensure the water is not below the element & the wiring has been upgraded. Has anybody got any ideas what more I can do?

get a titanium immersion heater, more expensive but last for years.
