Immersion switch

Hi guys I changed the immersion heater switch to a stainless steel one which had the same terminals as the one I took off but when I turned the power back on the light on the switch stays illuminated whichever way you flick the switch,would appreciate any advice, thanks in advance

at a guess I'd say you've put the supplies and loads in the wrong terminals
