I have to stick a foam-plastic strip inside a dishwasher cabinet to prevent water dripping past the bottom of the door. The hot water soaks into the foam and has softened the adhesive on my first attempt, so it came loose.

Any suggestions for a more durable adhesive or rubber strip?

I have looked in the Bosch parts list but can't see this strip.

Have you considered silicone sealant John? Flexible and I think heat resistant.

thanks, I was wondering about that, and might try a bead of it along the floor of the cabinet where the door presses. It has left an visible groove in the foam. Unfortunately it is going to be very awkward, as the gun would probably be at a better angle if I was inside the cabinet...

IIRC Sticks Like Sh+t is resistant to 100ºC and is very waterproof
