Ok My first attempt at plastering was passable but there are a number of imperfections on the wall that have become apparent as it has dried.

How should I go about covering these? Was considering sanding them down then applying some filler product to smooth out any hollows?

sand down any raised blemishes you have with fine grit paper and fill the hollow blemishes with easifill wait till dry and then sand them down as well
