Let me explain how mine works, might help to clear up any confusion, my stat is set with 0.3C differential. Say
room temp 18C and the stat SP 16C, if I increase to stat to 18.1C, it closes, when the temperature reaches 18.4C it opens. Once it closes I need to reduce it by 0.3C if I required it to open.
