incoming telephone cable

i have an old socket with the capacitor on the back and the 6 connections. I know which wires go where going internal.. The problem is i have only two wires coming in from the main line from the outside and am not sure how they connect to the 6 connectors. As i took it off the wall to decorate the wires fell out, would this mean its my problem or BTs and if its mine does anyone have any idea which numbers they go into?

2 and 5 normally, what colours have you got?

One is blue with green and the other is yellow with blue

I'm thinking you probably have blue with a white dash and White with a blue dash.
Blue with white dash to 2
White with blue dash to 5
