I have a low stone wall around the perimeter of my home. I would like to replace this with a rendered block wall.
I understand if the new wall is less than a meter high I do not need planning permission.
Can increase the height of the stone wall with blocks then render the lot, or will I have to remove the stone wall first?
How deep do the footings of a meter high block wall need to be?
