our indesit dishwasher was not filling with water and kept going back to the first light indicating an error. I surfed the internet (as had lost the instructions) and did not find a lot of help, except that may be there was a kink in the hose which there wasn't until reading this site where the advise was to tip the machine onto its side and be prepared with a mop. We tried this and sure enough water came out we then switched it on and held our breath and low and behold it worked. I'm not really sure why and who cares its working again!!! hooray. i would advise people to try this first before paying out for a engineer.
