I have a Indesit washer drier, quite possible the worse kitchen appliance I have ever owned.

Its current fault is the drier doesn't seem to work. Clothes come out soaking wet, seemingly wetter than when they went in. The are also very hot. The heater element obviously seems to be working but I cannot see how the clothes are getting wetter. Also the space around the unit seems to get very hot. Some chocolates were left in the counter above the machine and they completely melted. Pretty sure it didnt used to do that.

Any ideas?

Could I have knocked or damaged something when I changed the pump recently (its 3rd pump in two years)?

Clean the fan blades and flush the condenser out.

Under the heater box. A plastic looking bottle shaped bolted to the back of the drum. Remove the heater box and undo the cold fill hose and use that to flush the condenser out.
