Hi.

I have an Indesit Washer / Dryer (Model WIDL126S - bought in 2007) and recently a problem has developed which I hope someone can help me with. What happens is, for example, I start it on a 1 hour wash cycle, but hours later it's still washing. Other cycles seem to take less time than I expect them to.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Yes it will fix it. Is the filter blocked ,what ohms you got on the heater.

Filter is on the front right hand side under the kick strip. it may be on 30 but is the heater working , if it is open circuit it will cause this fault. Test it with a meter.

I've found the washing machine manual to see how I access the front panel. I've removed the panel and unscrewed the 'pump' as per the instructions (is this the same as the filter?) but it wasn't that dirty so I'm sceptical as to whether his has resolved the issue.

It that case now check the heater with a meter set on ohms then tell me the readings
