Indesit wd12x Drain

Hi, I recently needed to move my indesit wd12x as it was banging against the adjacent cupboard during the spin.
As the machine was full I opened the black drain on the front lower right to let the water out. This worked fine and I was able to move the machine but my problem is now closing the drain.
It will move a quarter of a turn but no position appears to be the closed postition.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

do you mean filter at the bottom ,if so you have something jammed in there undo filter /pump asy and see whats stopping it poss coins

Every machine I have had before the filter just pulls out. This one has a screw either side, do I have to undo them to get it out?

undo screws to look inside the pump, filter unscrews there is something in the pump jamming it
