We use an Indesit WD12X washer/dryer.

Recently we've noticed that the load is not draing all the water. More worryingly we can open the door so on one occasion the door was opened and water gushed out!

Once a cycle has completed, we need to set it to drain/spin 1 or 2 additional times.

We've checked the pump filter at the front/bottom and nothing appers to be blocking it there.

How should I approach this?

Cheers

check the waste pipe does it go into sink poss blocked at spigot

depending on how the plumbing is done, you could disconnect the machine waste pipe and hook it over the sink to see if it empties properly, (put a temp plug in the spigot you took the hose off, unless it is in its oen stand pipe,) if it empties properly and fills the sink you know it is the plumbing, if the machine still doesn't empty properly you know it is the machine, can't offer a fix for the prob but at least you would know if it was the machine or house plumbing
