Starting the washing cycle, the machine takes on water as per normal. However after a rotation of the drum,it takes on more water, stops the flow, rotates and takes on more water again. This continues until the drum is
~ 3/4 full.It then goes through the wash programme.
Do you think this is a logic fault, faulty sensor?
There is no error message shown on the display.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Has it always done this ? Has it just started doing this ? Does it do this with any type of contents ? Try and help us to help you ! It will do this with very absorbent contents e.g. a load of towels because it will take water until the the sensor triggers, then the towels will absorb some, dropping the level. It will take more in until sensor triggers again, etc. Shouldn't do this on less absorbent materials e.g. shirts.

Thanks for the reply,Bathjobby.
Panic over, the problem was that the tubing to the pressure switch had "developed " a puncture. After checking the operation of the switch, turned the machine on,after a while, water on floor.(Must have enlarged the hole when I
moved the tubing around.)Fitted new tubing, working fine now.[/b]
