Indesit WG1030

Hi, i have a "Indesit WG1030" washing machine and my problem is that after the machine has washed the contents i still have water in the machine, when i have clothes in the machine it doesn't want to spin at 1000rpm either although it spins slowly. When the machine is empty it spins

. i am just wondering where the filter is situated on the machine and if a blocked filter could be my problem, as somebody washed the curtains today and some of the rings have disappeared

...Can anybody help me with the issue?

Filters are usually accessed via a small (fag packet size) panel at the lower front machine.
