Our washing machine has a red light flashing,this light is normally on when the machine is running,then it flashes when the cycle is complete,the light usually goes out when you turn the selector dial to the twelve o clock position,ie off.Now,however,it still flashes when you turn it to the off position,the machine apears to be working fine in all other ways,is this light indicating a fault?,any help would be apreciated,thanks.
