Indesit WIE157S Door not locking

Hi everyone,

my washing machine, an Indesit WIE157S, door is not locking. It seems to not click and lock. It is not the handle but on the washing machine itself.

Is it easy to repair by myself or should I get an engineer out to do it.

check the silver pin in the handle does it go though the handle and out the other side.

yes it looks like it, I am thinking that it could be the interlock that broken, is this difficult to fix?

lock is about a 10 quid easy to fit 2 screws.

how do you get into it?

remove lid and 2 screws on door lock and put hand down at 3 oclock inside of cabinet and pull lock towards you and unclip wire block replace in reverse order.
