Hi all after just fitting and replacing some rads in house going to fill system up once completed connecting everything up, just how much inhibitor do i need? i have 8 rads in total majority of them are 600x800mm double convectors have 2 thats slightly bigger and one towel rail. I bought "
Sentinel X100 Central Heating Scale Inhibitor 1Ltr" just 1, will i need more than one litre? if so how many litres for my system?

is there anything else i must add either or is just inhibitor fine?

thanks in advance

Kind regards

One litre wil do a bigger system than yours, and extra doesn't matter, so bung it all in. Over time it loses its effect, so it'll last a bit longer.
It's a good investment. One chap has me put a new bottle in every year.Totally OTT, but he's had a lot of trouble with rust in the past, so...

If there's anything v unusual tell us, but I doubt there is.

ok thanks buddy will add it tommorow :) when i drained it... it was brown is this normal? or is that a sign of rust? i did add inhibitor last year (11 months ago) but wasnt sure back then if it be enough just double checking now :). i do also want to add 1 more rad do you think my boiler could take one more? 9 in total, its a valiant ecomax 824/e shows max kw 18 but i added all mine so far are way under that.

thanks in advance
