Can a tub of inhibitior go out of date have some fernox unopened in it's tube. Says on the tube is best/use before September 2023. It's stays in the system for years though.

Loads of products have dates on and they guarantee it's okay.
Use outside date and no guarantee.

You could drain some water off and drop a steel washer in to see if it rusts as a test. Old trick that
