I have now confirmed via the test tube test that I have hydrogen forming in my system.
I always get air forming in my highest rad (towel rail).
My system is a 2 year old ecotec 831 together with 8 rad also 2 years old.
The pipe work with the exception of the rad tails is old.
I currently have Fernox F1 in the system after the install the system was flushed for a few days using fernox cleaner before the F1 inhibitor was added.
Now I don't know if I need to use some Sentinel X300 cleaner or X400 sludge remover, followed by a few flushes and the addition of X100 inhibitor.
I actually think that I have a clean system as whenever I have drained in the past the water has been clean but what do you guys think I need to do??
