I'm about to replace my diverter valve on my Greenstar heatslave. Do I need replace the inhibitor after the system has been depressurised by draining a bit ?.
If so, what do I put in it ?. The system was installed around 2010/11

I live in Cornwall and we have very soft water if that makes any difference.

Thanks,

Drain it all down, give it a flush throught then add x100. Top up and bleed.

Ok, I bled the rads recently and the water is more or less clear - never had any 'air' in the system ever. Daft question, how would I easily flush it, we have just 5 radiators and no inmersion.

Thinking about it, I could just refill with plain water run the system and drain that out. I was thing alone the lines of messing with hose pipes and fittings etc.
