Ink Removal from Photo

Any suggestions on how to remove ink from a glossy photograph (no digital suggestions please). Any recommendations would be appreciated! Sue
 
Have the photo .photographed,and the marks airbrushd out....we do this on old photos for genealogy purposes...I understand your mr. Hefner used to do a lot of airbrushing :lol:
 
a) what sort of ink - certain ianks come off easier than others
b) there are photo wipes you can get that might work
