Insert Plate

Good Afternoon,

I have the Makita RP2301 Plunge Router, Shortly I will be building a router table for it but am struggling to find an insert plate that will work with this type of router, can anybody point me in the right direction please?

Could you use a blank one and then just drill the holes in it to match?

I did the same with mine recently when the Trend Router table I picked up on ebay turned out to have a mullered plate that was beyond saving and discontinued.
