Hi,

I'm trying to insert a tee component between two connectors that are already installed. Please see the images.

So my new tee will go between the red outlined piece and the yellow outlined piece.

I have already started on the wrong foot by buying a tee component that is too big (please see the second image).

1) How do I know the mm of the left and right piece?
2) What do I need to insert a new tee between them?

Thanks.

That Tee will be too bulky, not sure it’s the wrong size. You need 15mm, but you could get a compression one to fit better.

Or replace the grey tee with copper and the whole thing will be a lot slimmer.
On this occasion I would solder although I am not against plastic fittings.

or change the orientation of the new tee have the centre branch going into your existing tee and have your washing machine fitting coming out the top and what ever your adding coming out the bottom
