Best plastic fittings

Right so you come on a site that's purpose is for the general public to get sound advice for their DIY attempts and you refuse to post up you credentials.

So no one knows you or your experience from Adam, and for that reason I would recommend all posters ignore this man's advice until he has proven his competence.

out of interest what inline softener have you fitted in the picture you have put up ? as majority ask for no closer than 1mtr to boiler and no further than 2

Is norcon the same bloke who put a 50 kw ?? combi in a one bedroom flat which only served a hand basin ?? something like that :)

From another victim on here off the great advice.....

"Wish I'd used compression in the first place but was persuaded to use push fits from earlier posts"

Push fit is Ok , I have been involved in R & D on the subject , still am actually

O rings are good for at least 25 years provided it is installed correctly.

scare mongering always go's on , BSE , bird flu , terrorist attacks ,global warming, price of a pint , push fit etc etc

I think we get that people have different preferences...

What's on tele tonight?

I'm confused...

There's no need to be.

Forget compression - only one idiot advocates them, every professional here is otherwise in agreement.

Seriously Nobcorn is only posting his drivel to get a rise out of professionals. If it wasn't for the fact that unsuspecting diyers like you might get suckered in we wouldn't bother responding.

Might even report this thread to the mods.
