I'm hoping somebody here can help me fit a newly puchased Danfoss TP5000-RF Si + RX1 into a Worcester Bosch 24i RSF combi boiler. :) I'm competent with electrics and wiring but have no experience of boilers.

The RX1 is the wireless receiver that I need to wire into the boiler. The instructions show the wiring, from left to right, as:

N To electronics
L To electronics
1 Not connected
2 COM
3 ZONE 1 ON
4 ZONE 1 OFF

2 and 4 are connected by a switch symbol, which moves to 2 and 3 when switched.

The instructions also state
1) For mains voltage operated systems link terminal 2 to mains live supply.
2) Power supply to unit must not be switched by timeswitch.

The boiler connections in the installation instructions are:

N mains
L mains
E mains
CN programmer - neutral
CI programmer - switched live
CL programmer - live
RN room thermostat - neutral
RI room thermostat - switched live
RL room thermostat - live

The boiler already has a mechanical timeswitch installed which is wired to the above connections as follows:

CN White wire
CI Grey wire
CL Brown wire

There are no wires connected to the R terminals.
The instructions also show a link between RI and RL, when a programmer is connected to the C terminals, but I cannot see a wire connecting these in the boiler.

Any help in confirming the correct wiring connections to use would be greatly appreciated. Also, what gauge wire would you suggest I use?

Many thanks

James
