Hi,
I have some damp issue and would like to install passive air vent in my bedrooms. However the external wall has tile on, so do I need some special tools to drill a hole in the tile?

I was thinking maybe I just drill a hole in the wall and leave the tile as it is? The tile itself will be the front cover. Will that work?

Many Thanks

If you can't find one or have one made for vertical use, then you can use a standard roof one. The opening will be the same to fit a 100mm pipe its just they it need cutting down much more

I thought they're supposed to extract via the roof (a tile vent).
Hi,I can't see any air vent in my bedroom at the moment, do you mean I should install some roof vent instead? Sounds much more work than just dig a hole on the wall though
