Installation methods for cable

Hello

This is a general question on cable installation methods:

I have a 6mm hituf cable running through a wall from inside to outside. A want to check the current carrying capacity so looking at installation methods (BS7671) that appears to be method 1 embedded directly in masonry.... Also Clipped direct is method 1 which confuses me.

If I refer to my table (4D2A) I'm assuming I take the column headed Reference method 1 (clipped direct) although it makes no reference to embedded directly in masonry.

I'm probably being stupid so if someone could clarify I'd greatly appreciate it.

It's do with heat dissipation of the cable which would be the same for cable buried in masonry or clipped direct for that particular cable.
