Thanks for all the info you have provided.
Well, I tested the individual elements in the sauna stove and all work OK.
However, the RCD still trips after two minutes on any element..even just one out of three. As some have suggested, more to this than just a dodgy element I think.
I've decided to solve it the easy way....sparks coming tomorrow.
