I am thinking of installing a new bathroom suite with a back-to wall WC. I think that installing the cistern and associated pipework should be straightforward. My question is: how do I install the soil pipe connection and flush connection to the WC pan, as these are by design completely concealed behind the front panel of the cistern enclosure. Any advice would be appreciated - Jerry

Accurately, and well braced in position with a good quality connector .. so when you push it in you don`t get any leaks that take a while to show up under the pan

If you can afford it, use a geberit or grohe metal frame.
Not only are they much less likely to leak, they are also much better when it comes to servicing.
