I need to install a surface mounted ( not telescopic) anti-parking post in front of a garage on a private driveway. The driveway is block paved. Commercial installers seem to just drill the requisite number of holes for the fixing bolts which they fill with epoxy resin before inserting the bolt anchors.
Could anyone with experience of doing similar jobs tell me if they have found what I have described gives a secure fixing for normal use. I realize it would not stand up to deliberate ramming.
Many thanks.

Anything just bolted to the blocks will just fall over when someone just pushes it with their hand, You either accept that it is 100% for show and you may be reseating/replacing the bricks every so often or you go all out and do it properly.
