I am installing a shower pump (twin impellor) to an independant mixer shower over the bath. Water pressure is low but there is a good supply of cold water in loft and hot water tank is in the airing cupboard next to the bath itself. Do I need to empty the hot water tank before tapping into the hot supply as I don't want a flood, or can I just turn of the feeder supply to the tank :?: (which stops the hot water running throughout the bungalow quite quickly). also what sort of cutting tool is best for the 22mm pipe as the working space is very tight :?:
many thanks for any suggestions
:D
