Hello,

I am contemplating getting an electric shower installed.

I have just one simple question....

How much should i expect to pay (roughly) for someone to come in and do electrics for the shower?

cheers,

Depends so much whats involved - is the consumer unit nearby or will a long length of new cable be needed? Is the company fuse up to it?
Is the water supply nearby. Is the existing bathroom wiring earth bonding up to spec?
Allow at least a hundred a day for labour, plus all parts, and go from there.
Otherwise phone three people out of the yellow pages and ask them to quote.

Is the CU up to it?

As ever, personal recommendation counts for a huge amount - ask friends and neighbours.

And don't forget to ask the people who quote what their situation is vis-a-vis Part P registration....
