cost of installing electric shower???

Could someone give me an approximate cost for an electrician to install an electric shower. The shower up at the moment runs off the hot water tank. The cost would involve replacing the existing boiler fed shower with an electric one which I have already bought ? Cheers.

its not that simple

you will need a plumber to install the water supply

you will need the apropriate sized cable 6 or 10 mm depending on shower rating

you may also not have enough room on consumers unit for lecy supply

you may have enough room on consumers unit for lecy supply, but no RCD

consumers unit may be in basement, shower on 3rd floor

as you see there are too many variable to give you an answer, even a guestimate
