Installing and removing ceiling mounted PIR sensor

Can ceiling-mounted PIR's with this type of fixing be installed and, if necessary, removed from below, i.e. without access from above?

Reason I ask is because the space above the fitting is severely limited and I haven't a hope in hell of getting within touching distance. Fitting and wiring won't be a problem but removal would be if that requires access from above.

Yes you would pull it down from below.

But be careful that the spring-loaded arms don't whack your fingers. They use the same springs in mouse traps!
