Can anybody help. I am trying to wire in a beko electric cooker. It didnt have a cooker wire attached. I have the correct wire and the cooker socket is all ready, The problem is where the wires attach to the back of the cooker. I have done this before bt on the back of his cooker it doesnt show where the wires go. The earth goes at the bottom but the other 2 connection piont just have numbers it doesnt say if the live goes at the top or middle. Does anybody know.

try looking in the instructions..
if you don't have any, goolge for them, we're not here to do all the research for you..

what size cable did you get? what wattage is the cooker?

I ask this because we've had people before say they have got the right wire only to find them trying to wire a 10KW cooker in with 0.5 lamp flex..
