Hi, I’m installing a MoesGo Wifi thermostat to replace the ageing mechanical one hanging from the wall in my Sister-in-law’s house. I’ve done one at my own house and it is very good.

The challenge here is that the old stat only has two wires going to it. The MoesGo has 4 terminals. Pics attached.

Any advice on how to wire please?

You don't even know if it is switching 230 volt, it could well be 24 volt, so may need both line and neutral which need to come from same supply as the boiler, this is why I have silly Nest Gen 3, only two wires main house to boiler, so those two wires (12 volt DC) feed the thermostat and take info as to when boiler needs to run and when motorised valve needs to open to the heat link next to the boiler.
